Autumn Leaves

Autumn is my favourite time of the year, the trees all turn to beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow and then drop their leaves for us to scuff our feet in. It is such a pretty time. The days are long, calm and relaxing and there is always a feeling of peace.

Those lovely Autumn colours inspired me to make this beautiful quilt. I have called it Autumn Leaves.

Although we are well and truly into winter now in Australia with cold, wet and windy days - looking at this quilt reminds me of the relaxing Autumn mood.

My Autumn Leaves quilt has been rotary cut and machine pieced with some blanket stitch applique.
